Loss is an inevitable part of life, and grief is our emotional response to the experience of loss. Grieving the loss of someone or something we love can be a complicated process that includes intense feelings such as guilt, anger, emptiness, sadness & hopelessness. The negative effects of unresolved grief can bring challenges to our routines, health, relationships, work & even our faith. But amid these challenges lie opportunities for growth.

The one-day workshop will use movies as a catalyst to help participants move beyond loss & grief, towards recovery. The focus of this workshop is to provide practical knowledge & tools that participants can use to work through their losses, and/or to support others in meeting the challenges of the grieving process.

About the Speaker
Mr Tony Ting is a retired counsellor who served with Wesley Counselling Service at Wesley Methodist Church for 24 years before retiring in 2023. Prior to that, he worked with the Singapore Armed Forces and Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprise, and helped found the Association of Professionals Specialising in Addiction Counselling.
