New technology and social media have exposed our children to information and interactions never imagined possible. While exciting, it can also pose dangers unknown. Plug into the cyberworld to help your child develop media discernment, online safety, data privacy and digital etiquette.
By the end of the talk, parents will
- Understand the impact of various forms of media and how it affects children’s perceptions, attitudes and behaviour
- Know how to set boundaries for your unique child
- Use practical skills to engage with their children and leverage on media and technology

About the Trainer:
Mr Joshua Liong currently serves as Principal Trainer at Focus on the Family Singapore. He is an international speaker and trainer and speaks on issues of youth, sexuality, marriage, parenting and faith. A dynamic and engaging speaker, he has more than thirteen years of experience conducting parenting workshops. He also loves connecting with young people and has spent more than 25 years strategising on ways to better equip them for life, relationships and faith. A certified marriage and parenting coach, he has a diploma in Child Psychology and is currently pursuing his Masters in Ministry. He has been featured on 938NOW and has also journeyed with incarcerated fathers, on building relationships and parenting. Joshua has been married for close to 20 years and has two teenage daughters.
